US: Illinois Tool Works announces new appointment

Illinois Tool Works (ITW) has promoted Jane Warner to executive vice president of the global finishing and software businesses.
In 2005, Warner joined ITW as president of worldwide finishing. Prior to that, she served as the president of Plexus Systems, a manufacturing software company, and a vice president with EDS, where she led their global manufacturing industry group. Her experience also includes a 20-year career with General Motors where she held executive positions in manufacturing, engineering and human resources.
ITW manufacturers engineered components and industrial systems and consumables. The company's finishing business serves automotive OEM customers in their primary assembly painting facilities. ITW Finishing Technologies' Automotive Refinish customers include collision repair facilities and fleet refinishing facilities.
