In the second quarter of 2014, UD Trucks deliveries increased by 14.1% on a year-on-year basis. The highest growth of units was in Asia with 417 units or 12.5%. Meanwhile, a sharp decrease happened in North America due to a combination of factors that include the continued declining of the cab-over-engine market segment and the cost of regulatory compliance.
