ŠKODA will be presenting the 2014 sales and financial results on 16 March, 2015. The Czech car manufacturer set a new sales record, selling 1.04 million vehicles in 2014. This was the first time in the 120-year history of the company that they had sold more than one million cars in a single calendar year. The company is planning further growth for 2015, and the new ŠKODA Superb heralds a new era for the brand.
Despite facing a challenging environment in 2014, ŠKODA managed to grow continually. Worldwide deliveries increased 12.7% to over 1 million cars (1.04 million) for the first time, establishing the brand in the ‘Champions League’ of international volume manufacturers. ŠKODA has also won over new consumer groups with their new models. These promising developments have continued into this year. In January, ŠKODA’s sales increased 7.5% over January 2014, making it the best January in the company’s history.

ŠKODA will be picking up the pace in 2015. The new ŠKODA Fabia Combi (estate) has been on the market since mid-January. However, the highlight of ŠKODA’s largest model campaign ever is the new ŠKODA Superb that celebrated its world premiere on 17 February in Prague. The best ŠKODA of all time heralds a new era for the brand. The new ŠKODA Superb revolutionises ŠKODA’s design, and has even more comfort features and room, as well as state-of-the-art technology based on the MQB. ŠKODA’s flagship is due to be launched in mid-2015.
