Designed to supply answers to the most modern European city and intercity transport needs, Fiat Scudo has achieved significant sales results over the years. The vehicle is much appreciated for the characteristics of the van versions and for the people transport range. The latter is intended both for professional use (taxis, shuttles, vehicles for carrying people with disabilities) and private use (families, sports teams, community use).
Sales of Fiat Scudo MY 2013 are kicking off. Aim of the revamped model is to consolidate its position in the 2P segment which amounted to 25 percent of the commercial vehicle market in Europe + EFTA in 2012 with a refreshed style inside and out and offers tailored to the needs of Fiat Professional customers.
Revamped interiors and new front grille
The most important innovation available on all Scudo MY 2013 versions is the new dark grey dashboard with matching door panels (the panels are enriched with grey velvet accents on Panorama versions). New are also the instrument dials on Fiat Scudo Panorama which now feature aluminium stripes on black background which blend perfectly into the interior decor. The Panorama Family version is outfitted with the same modern, top-quality fabric seats as the Executive, while the trim surrounding the door handles, the air vents and the middle part of the dashboard is black (with an aluminium stripe on Panorama Executive versions). Finally, all Scudo MY 2013 versions have a new silver grey front grille which evokes the Ducato family feeling.
More equipment and advantageous prices tailored for Fiat Professional customers
Standard equipment has been expanded on the Scudo MY 2013 to satisfy the specific needs of different customers. In common for all are significant economic benefits which translate into a truly competitive price tag.
The range rationalisation programme focused on both the goods carrier and the people carrier versions for Italy. On the goods carrier front and at the same price, the Fiat Scudo MY 2013 SX version is packed with great contents for everyday motoring Cruise Control, rear parking sensors, CD MP3 radio with controls on steering wheel, Bluetooth and folding electric mirrors.
Innovations also concern the Panorama versions, which today sport a more distinctive exterior look and more comfort onboard: these features are especially interesting since the Fiat Scudo is often used as shuttle for exclusive courtesy services. The 2013 range
Packed with equipment, Fiat Scudo MY 2013 is the best answer for multiple mission profiles and operative deployment. Proof of this is the wide, articulate range, which includes goods carriers (Cargo), people carriers (Combi and Panorama) and bases for conversions and special outfits.
Goods carrier versions are available in van and crew cab configurations (panelled, glazed and semi-glazed) with the following variants: two wheelbases (3.00 m for the short version and 3.12 m for the long version); two exterior lengths (4.80 m and 5.13 m); two exterior heights (1.94 m and 2.28 m) and two load compartment lengths (2.25 m and 2.58 m). There are three volumes (5 m3, 6 m3 and 7 m3) and two payloads (1000 and 1200 kg). The engine range features the 90 HP 1.6 MultiJet, the 130 HP 2.0 MultiJet and the 165 HP 2.0 MultiJet Power. All engines are Euro 5-compliant, responsive and flexible. The two 2.0 MultiJet turbo diesel versions fit a six-speed gearbox.
The new Scudo 2013 range includes a complete portfolio of people carriers. Three different outfits were created with specific uses and customers in mind: Combi, Panorama Family and Panorama Executive. The Combi is the ideal solution for getting work crews and their tools to and back from work. The Panorama Family/Executive is perfect for large families looking for the typical comfort and style of a minivan and for business customer services (such as hotel/airport shuttles, rentals with driver). The Fiat Scudo MY 2013 people carrier category features two wheelbases (3000 mm and 3122 mm), two exterior lengths (4805 and 5135 mm) and two 2.0 MultiJet turbo diesel engines (130 HP and 165 HP).
Versions for conversions complete the Scudo MY 2013 range. Particularly noteworthy is the Scudo chassis cowl with floor bed, ideal for creating vehicles perfectly compliant with specific needs: refrigerated vehicles, mobile shops, mini motorhomes, and more. It is available with 3122 mm wheelbase and maximum load on front and rear axle of 1400 kg and 1700 kg, respectively.
