Rolls-Royce Motor Cars hosted 50 distinguished guests for an inaugural forum on the topic ‘Evolving Asia’ today at its Singapore showroom, bringing together thought leaders and captains of industry to share their views.

The Rolls-Royce Leadership Forum is part of a series of talks being held in the region, and follows events held recently in Mumbai and New Delhi, India, led by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Torsten Müller-Ötvös. Through the Forum series, the brand seeks to engage with its customers, entrepreneurs, industry experts and academics to promote dialogue and understanding.

The forum comes at a time when the global economy is uncertain, fragile and fragmented and Asia’s growth is uncertain. Some Asian countries are emerging economies with relatively fast growth rates while others are finding ways to maintain growth as developed economies. Topics discussed included the Outlook for Asia, Consumer Trends, Innovation & Technology and Leadership & Talent.

Speakers at the forum included Mr Serguei Netessine, Professor of Technology and Operations Management at INSEAD; Ms Yupana Wiwattanakantang, Associate Professor, National University of Singapore; Mr Max Loh, Managing Partner ASEAN and Singapore with Ernst & Young; and Mr Paul Harris, Asia Pacific Regional Director of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. Richard Martin, Managing Director of IMA Asia, is the moderator of the discussion panel.*

Paul Harris commented: “The business leaders of the world today, many of which are our customers, are faced with rapidly evolving landscapes in every sense of the word. Through this forum we hope to promote dialogue and understanding to support the future success of Asia.”
