Richard Wallace, Director, Transportation Systems Analysis, Center for Automotive Research has been confirmed as a moderator in the Connected Car stream at Automotive Megatrends USA 2015, which takes place on 17 March 2015.

Wallace is Director, Transportation Systems Analysis group within the Center for Automotive Research (CAR). He has 21 years of experience designing, conducting, and managing transportation projects and research. Wallace also leads CAR’s connected and automated vehicle efforts for the Michigan Department of Transportation and several other projects. He currently serves as President of the Intelligent Transportation Society of Michigan.

Organised by Automotive World, Automotive Megatrends USA 2015 is a one-day, three stream conference focusing on Powertrain Innovation, the Connected Car, and Retail (R)evolution. The event will take place at The Henry hotel in Dearborn, Michigan.

Wallace will be moderating the third session of Stream 2: the Connected Car, which focuses on the technologies and trends that will have the most impact on the evolution of the connected car in North America. Topics will include OEM strategy, software and apps, network, device integration, safety and security, location-based services and standards.
