Mr R, Ramakrishnan, Senior Vice President – Commercial Vehicle Business Unit, Tata Motors has been confirmed as a panellist in the Retail Revolution stream at Automotive Megatrends India 2015.

Ramakrishnan is presently the Senior Vice President (Commercial Vehicle Business Unit) Mumbai of Tata Motors Limited (TML) and has been working with Tata Motors since 1985.

Ramakrishnan is a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering and has been associated with key strategic initiatives in Tata Motors Limited such as Project Top Gear for Business Projects re-engineering (1997-98), New Product Introduction(2003-05), acquisition of Daewoo Commercial Vehicles (2004).

He conceptualised the World Truck and headed the program during the concept development phase.

Prior to his present assignment, he was a Vice President for the Passenger Car Business Unit of Tata Motors between August 2010 and September 2012.
