Grupo Antolin’s desire to become a leading supplier is on the right track, as is demonstrated by the awards from Ford and PSA. These awards underline Grupo Antolin’s commitment to excellence and place it in the list of the main suppliers of these manufacturers, which is a real achievement if we take into account that the two companies have more than 1,200 suppliers each. “These awards are a sign that our efforts to offer the best possible response to the challenges faced by our customers are worthwhile” said the Vice Chairman, Ernesto Antolín.
In both cases, awards highlight the work of those suppliers who have gone that bit further than was expected of them and have reached the highest levels of excellence. In addition, both Ford and PSA have underlined the vital importance of these companies in the creation of their products and in the achievement of their objectives. Suppliers play a very important role in both the configuration and the final price of the car.
In the case of Ford, the US Company has recognized the commitment of Grupo Antolin and its efforts to align its business objectives with those of Ford.
The French company, for its part, has included the Eurotrim and Dapsa plants, in Burgos, and the Turnov plant, in the Czech Republic, in its list of best centers. Grupo Antolin produces overhead systems in Eurotrim, plastic parts in Turnov and mechanisms (window regulators) in Dapsa. This award, which is being given for the first time, recognizes the excellence of the production processes. These allow PSA to achieve its quality standards all the way through from production to handing the keys over to the purchaser.
