The Sustainability Report 2014 outlines Mazda’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives and achievements*1 for the fiscal year ended (FYE) March 2014. The Annual Report 2014 features management information and financial news.

Highlights of the Sustainability Report 2014

  • In Top Message, Mazda’s Representative Director, President and CEO Masamichi Kogai discusses his views on CSR, and introduces Mazda’s Brand Value Management initiatives which link CSR activities to the company’s business strategy.
  • A feature section explains Mazda’s Brand Philosophy which establishes a set of values to be shared among all employees of the Mazda Group. It also describes the Brand Value Management based on this philosophy that is being launched on a group-wide basis.
  • Another feature describes Mazda’s Monotsukuri Innovation—a series of initiatives that redefine the vehicle development and manufacturing process.
  • The Report outlines Mazda’s CSR activities during the FYE March 2014 in line with the company’s CSR Targets*2.
  • Stakeholders and Mazda Group employees share their thoughts in side-columns.
  • The report also makes a list of evaluations received from external sources (awards, etc.) during the FYE March 2014.

  • Special Feature lays out specific Brand Value Management initiatives Mazda is implementing with the aim of offering unique products and services which provide driving pleasure, and becoming a brand which is continually chosen by customers.
