1. Domestic Production

(1) June 2014

Mazda’s domestic production volume in June 2014 increased 6.7% compared to June 2013 due to increased production of both passenger and commercial vehicles.

Mazda3 (Axela): 24,081 units (up 6.7% year-on-year)
Mazda6 (Atenza): 12,567 units (up 2.5% year-on-year)

 

(2) January through June 2014

Mazda’s total domestic production volume in the period from January through June 2014 increased 3.7% year-on-year due to increased production of both passenger and commercial vehicles.

Mazda3 (Axela): 148,603 units (up 10.6% year-on-year)

2. Overseas Production

(1) June 2014

Mazda’s overseas production volume in June 2014 increased 32.0% year-on-year, reflecting increased production of passenger vehicles.

Mazda6: 8,138 units (down 20.2% year-on-year)
BT-50: 4,288 units (down 34.3% year-on-year)

Mazda’s total overseas production volume in the period from January through June 2014 increased 8.7% year-on-year, due to increased production of passenger vehicles.

Mazda’s domestic sales volume in June 2014 decreased 24.0% compared to June 2013 due to decreased sales of both passenger and commercial vehicles.

Mazda’s registered vehicle market share was 4.1% (down 1.4 points year-on-year), with a 2.0% share of the micro-mini segment (down 0.4 points year-on-year) and a 3.2% total market share (down 1.0 points year-on-year).

Mazda3 (Axela): 3,709 units (up 242.2% year-on-year)
CX-5: 1,937 units (down 48.8% year-on-year)
Mazda2 (Demio): 1,774 units (down 45.0% year-on-year)

 

(2) January through June 2014

Mazda’s total domestic sales volume in the period from January through June 2014 increased 3.9% year-on-year due to increased sales of both passenger and commercial vehicles.

Mazda’s registered vehicle market share was 5.0% (down 0.4 points year-on-year), with a 2.6% share of the micro-mini segment (down 0.1 points year-on-year) and a 4.0% total market share (down 0.3 points year-on-year).
