Magna International Inc. announces the expansion of its interiors manufacturing facility in Trnava, Slovakia, to accommodate recently awarded additional automotive interiors business.
Magna Interiors Trnava, will nearly double in size from 8.700 square meters to more than 15.500 square meters once the expansion is complete. The facility produces interiors products such as door panels, instrument panels and armrests for various global automakers.
“Continuing to grow our business and expand our plant is proof that we are delivering value to our customers,” said Ralf Link, General Manager Magna Interiors Trnava. “Additionally, this expansion positions us for future growth opportunities, which is good for our employees and the local community.”
Magna Interiors Trnava started production in 2006 with 20 employees. Today, the facility has nearly 400 employees.
