John Gartner, Research Director leading Navigant Research’s Smart Transportation programme has been confirmed as a moderator in the Powertrain Innovation stream at Automotive Megatrends USA 2015, which takes place on 17 March 2015.
Gartner leads the Smart Transportation programme, with a primary focus on electric vehicles, advanced batteries, and vehicle charging infrastructure.

Organised by Automotive World, Automotive Megatrends USA 2015 is a one-day, three stream conference focusing on Powertrain Innovation, the Connected Car, and Retail (R)evolution. The event will take place at The Henry hotel in Dearborn, Michigan.
Gartner will be moderating the second session of Stream 1: Powertrain Innovation, which will focus on the key breakthroughs in light vehicle powertrain technology that will lead to greater fuel economy and emissions reduction. Topics will include OEM and supplier strategy, emission standards, engine downsizing, lubricants, lightweighting, electrification and alternative fuels.
