Production in Japan experienced a year-on-year increase for the second consecutive year (since Fiscal Year 2013).

Production in regions outside of Japan experienced a year-on-year increase for the second consecutive year (since Fiscal Year 2013), setting an all-time fiscal year record. This includes all-time fiscal year records in North America, USA, Asia, and China.

Production worldwide experienced a year-on-year increase for the second consecutive year (since Fiscal Year 2013), setting an all-time fiscal year record.

March 2014

Production in Japan for the month of March 2014 experienced a year-on-year increase for the seventh consecutive month (since September 2013).

Production in regions outside of Japan experienced a year-on-year increase for the second consecutive month (since February 2014), setting a record high production for the month of March. This includes record high production for the month of March in Asia and China.

Worldwide production experienced a year-on-year increase for the eighth consecutive month (since August 2013).

Honda’s automobile sales in the Japanese market for the Fiscal Year 2014 experienced a year-on-year increase for the second consecutive year (since Fiscal Year 2013).

New vehicle registrations experienced a year-on-year increase for the first time in four years (since Fiscal Year 2010).

Sales of mini-vehicles experienced a year-on-year increase for the third consecutive year (since Fiscal Year 2012), setting an all-time fiscal year record.

Fit was the industry’s third best-selling car among new vehicle registrations for the Fiscal Year 2014, with sales of 217,097 units. Freed was the industry’s 10th best-selling car with sales of 60,849 units.

<Mini-vehicles – under 660 cc>
N-BOX was the industry’s top selling car among mini-vehicles for the Fiscal Year 2014, with sales 225,903 units. N-ONE was the industry’s ninth best-selling car with sales of 82,792 units. N-WGN was the industry’s 10th best-selling car with sales of 72,546 units.

Honda’s automobile sales in the Japanese market for the month of March 2014 experienced a year-on-year increase for the eighth consecutive month (since August 2013).

New vehicle registrations experienced a year-on-year increase for the seventh consecutive month (since September 2013).

Sales of mini-vehicles experienced a year-on-year increase for the 27th consecutive month (since January 2012).

Fit was the industry’s top selling car among new vehicle registrations for the month of March 2014 with sales of 31,921 units.

<Mini-vehicles – under 660 cc>
N-BOX was the industry’s second best-selling car in the mini-vehicle category for the month of March 2014 with sales of 26,626 units. N-WGN was the industry’s third best-selling car with sales of 23,927 units.
