L4060 low beam module now available // This means HELLA is now the only supplier of all five front light functions with LED technology in two modules
The new L4060 LED low-beam module is the new addition to the range of 90 millimeter LED modules by the lighting expert HELLA. This makes HELLA the only supplier in the market to provide a replacement concept for all 90 millimeter halogen modules that incorporates all five front light functions into two modules using LED technology.
The new L4060 LED low beam module is available with low beam only, or as low beam with daytime running and position light. The three functions are also combined which means the package space is very small. This homogenous ring-shaped daytime running light also stands out from the crowd due to its striking design. A polycarbonate cover lens gives the module optimum protection against impact from stones and passive cooling eliminates maintenance. The new L4060 LED low beam module has a low power consumption (max. 20 watts) which helps reduce fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions. It is also ECE and SAE type-tested, suitable for operation in 12 and 24 volt vehicle electrical systems and has its own integrated driver electronics. Existing older 90 millimeter halogen modules can therefore easily be replaced with the new LED technology.
What’s more, the 90 millimeter range of modules also includes the L4060 high beam module which has been available as standard since 2014 and the L4060 fog light. The first is available purely as a high-beam headlamp, in combination with a daytime running light and position light, or with direction indicator. The fog light is also available as front fog lamp only, and in addition with daytime running light and position light, as well as cornering light.
