Hyundai Motor Company, South Korea’s largest automaker, today held a groundbreaking ceremony in Cambodia for its third ‘Hyundai-KOICA Dream Center.’ The new training center, which follows openings in Ghana and Indonesia since 2013, is part of Hyundai Motor’s global Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts. Hyundai Motor aims to establish one ‘Hyundai-KOICA Dream Center’ every year to provide vocational training for young people in Asian and African countries. The center, jointly established with the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and Plan International, an INGO for children’s development, is designed to offer technical education to local students for sustainable aid.
Today’s groundbreaking ceremony for the new center, which is scheduled to open at the beginning of next year, was attended by government officials and Hyundai Motor executives.
