Zhejiang Geely Holding Group (herein after referred to as Geely) is pleased to announce that the company has been ranked on the Fortune 500 list for the third consecutive year.

In 2014 Geely moved forward 11 places on the list, moving from 477 to 466th place in 2014. Geely first entered onto the Fortune 500 list in 2012 and has continued to go from strength to strength.

Geely’s total revenue for the 2013 calendar year reached USD$25.767 billion with Geely selling a total of 549,518 units, whilst Volvo sold 427,840 units. Geely is now a global company with operations in every continent, in addition to owning Volvo Car Company, Geely also owns London Taxi, Emerald Automotive, and Australia’s DSI transmission systems – the world’s second largest manufacturer of automotive transmissions in the world.

Within China, Geely boasts nine production facilities including full car, engine and transmission systems and also eight overseas factories which cover all major international markets. Geely has design centres in Shanghai, Barcelona, Goteborg, and California, with R&D centres in China, Sweden and Australia. Volvo has production centres in Sweden, Belgium and two facilities in China, in Daqing and Chengdu respectively. London Taxi came under 100% Geely control in February 2013 and saw sales rebound considerably with new sales happening from its Coventry production and sales base to Nanjing, China and Perth, Australia.
