  • Very much the star of the moment, Renault Talisman is expected on the red carpet at this year’s Cannes Film Festival. Voted Most Beautiful Car of the Year 2015 at the International Automobile Festival, Talisman is the official vehicle at Cannes. It will accompany members of the jury chaired by George Miller, as well as celebrities and partners (including Air France, Orange, L’Oréal and Nestlé) to the foot of the Palais des Festivals and its legendary steps throughout the festival.
  • For the first time, Renault will also be partnering another glamorous event at the Cannes Film Festival: the amfAR gala. Organized at the Hotel du Cap in Antibes, this fundraiser for the fight against AIDS is attended by the world’s biggest stars every year.
  • Official partner for 33 years, Renault will be providing a fleet of over 300 vehicles sporting a Golden Palm for the occasion. The official fleet will comprise 160 Renault Talisman and 150 New Espace vehicles. It will be backed up by a “brand image” fleet made up of New Mégane, Kadjar and Renault Twizy, available to members of the public for test drives.

TALISMAN, THE TEMPTRESS OF THE 69TH CANNES FILM FESTIVAL
Selected by more than 125,000 web users in Europe, with a 40% share of the public vote, Renault Talisman won the Most Beautiful Car of the Year 2015 title at the International Automobile Festival in Paris. “With this prestigious title, Talisman was the natural choice to represent the brand at Cannes,” says Claude Hugot, Head of Public Relations with the Renault-Nissan Alliance, before going on to explain that this year, “For the needs of the festival, we have added another 150 New Espace models to achieve a harmonious mix of 300 vehicles, a first for the brand!”.

RENAULT AT THE AMFAR GALA: A MAJOR FIRST
As a responsible corporate citizen, Groupe Renault is responding to social change through a corporate foundation and a global framework agreement on corporate, social and environmental responsibility (signed in 2013) as part of a strategy based on an active, dynamic CSR policy. This year, on the fringe of the Cannes Film Festival, Renault will be partnering the renowned amfAR gala. A well established tradition, with Sharon Stone as campaign chair, this charity gala has been raising funds to support AIDS research and prevention for 20 years.

A SUBTLE ALLIANCE BETWEEN SENSUALITY AND ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY
Revealed in July 2015, Renault Talisman is out to wow Cannes with its charismatic name, synonymous with protection and power. Strong design lines give it a sleek, elegant appearance. It is available in ten colours to suit. With its three-box body, Talisman is a car of well-balanced proportions and generous dimensions. The cabin is one of the most spacious in its class, creating a warm comfortable living area for passengers, while boot capacity is between 572 and 1,681 dm3. Renault Talisman also features a range of innovative features for an enjoyable onboard experience, including a 7-inch digital meter under the binnacle hood, R-Link2 with an 8.7-inch screen, 100% LED Pure Vision lighting, a colour head-up display, BOSE® Surround sound, hands-free parking, and Multi-Sense technology. It is also the only D-segment saloon to feature the 4Control® four-wheel steering system with active damping.

RENAULT AND THE SILVER SCREEN: A GLAMOROUS DUO
Renault’s history has been linked to that of the cinema since its beginnings in 1895. At that time, Renault’s factories were close to the first cinema studios in Billancourt. Since then, Renault has been partner to the world’s leading film festivals: Lyon, Deauville, Angoulême, Cabourg, Seville and the Mostra International Film Festival in Venice. Every year, the group also makes a dedicated fleet of 40 vehicles available for television and film productions.
