Apollo Vredestein is displaying an array of its two brands’ best products at this year’s Geneva show. The tyre manufacturer’s stand makes for an impressive sight at the prestigious annual rendezvous with a Jaguar F-Pace fitted with Ultra High Performance Vredestein Ultrac Vorti 22” tyres.

On the stand, the new Vredestein Comtrac 2 All Season tyre is shown; production is running full steam ahead to satisfy the very high demand for this tyre in the light truck segment. The Comtrac 2 All Season has an 11.70-metre shorter braking distance on wet roads at 80 km/h compared to its already impressive predecessor, it also offers 10% more stability when driving with heavy loads and a 5% improvement in rolling resistance.

Also highlighted is a significant expansion in the size range for the latest products, such as the Vredestein Ultrac Satin – introduced at last year’s Geneva show – which now sports 35 new sizes, including SUV sizes. The Vredestein Quatrac 5, the company’s leading all-season passenger car tyre, has also had an impressive 25 new size releases over the past six months.

The occasion also sees the European debut of two Apollo products, the Amazer 4G Eco and Apterra HT2. The Amazer 4G Eco shows improved handling capabilities and puts safety first with its braking performance on wet roads. Internal tests also show a 25% better rolling resistance in comparison with its predecessor. Features of the Apterra HT2 include exceptional safety on wet roads (B-label for wet grip), better shock absorption and reduced noise leading to higher comfort levels. Both tyre models were released in select sizes on 1 March, with the full range available on the European market by April.
