Fiat and General Motors officially terminated their joint powertrain business Fiat-GM Powertrain on 13 May with the signing of a separation agreement in Amsterdam. The powertrain joint venture was formed in 2000. According to a source in the company, Fiat received about US$727m, reports Reuters.
