Caterpillar has signed an agreement that will result in Platinum Equity acquiring a 65% equity stake in Caterpillar Logistics Services LLC, the 3PL (third party logistics) division of its wholly owned subsidiary, Caterpillar Logistics Inc (Cat Logistics).
