Automotive sales in Brazil were hit by tighter availability of credit and fell 10.8% year-on-year in April to 257,885 units. According to the Brazilian Motor Vehicle Manufacturers Association Anfavea, last month’s sales figures were also down compared with March 2012 by 14.2%.
