Mazda and Ford have announced plans to invest US$27m in their AutoAlliance (Thailand) (AAT) joint venture. The funding will be used to upgrade production equipment and increase capacity for pick-up truck production by 20,000 units a year. The partners say the move is in response to strong global pick-up demand.
