Toyota has announced the production launch of its Fortuner SUV in Egypt at assembly subcontractor Arab American Vehicle Co (AAV). The Egyptian company will build around 3,000 Fortuners a year. Toyota Motor Engineering Egypt (TMEE) will oversee quality control, supply and demand management, and logistics management.
