Global production across Toyota, Daihatsu and Hino jumped 17.6% year-on-year in January to 809,630 passenger cars and commercial vehicles. The largest increase came at Hino, whose worldwide output grew 41.1% to 13,095 units. Daihatsu’s output increased 24.6% last month to 81,570 units, while Toyota’s rose 16.5% to 714,965 units.
