Suzuki‘s Indian subsidiary Maruti Suzuki posted a net profit of Rs2.13bn (US$43.52m) for the third quarter of fiscal 2008, ended 31 December 2008. This figure was down 54.3% compared with the net profit recorded in the same quarter a year earlier.
