Wireless charging is creeping up the curve

Michael Nash speaks to Qualcomm’s Steve Pazol about the progression of wireless electric vehicle charging (WEVC)

Projections and expectations for the electric vehicle (EV) market remain extremely positive. A report by market research firm Navigant Research suggests global sales of light duty EVs will grow to over six million by 2024, despite the fact that the segment only accounts for around 0.1% of total new vehicle sales today.

As the EV market continues on an upwards trajectory, growth is simultaneously gripping wireless electric vehicle charging (WEVC) technology.
