Who knew what, and when: VW’s Horn faces House Committee

Horn faces some hard questions regarding the manipulation of emissions testing in the US

The message from Volkswagen's Michael Horn to US regulators today is one of contrition, with a full acknowledgement that individuals in the Group acted incorrectly. In a written testimony submitted before his appearance later on 8 October, Horn, President and Chief Executive of Volkswagen Group of America, "apologises on behalf of everyone at Volkswagen" and promises that the OEM "will find remedies for our customers and... ensure that this will never happen again."
