Toyota has stated that it is targeting a 49% share of Thai automotive exports in 2006. The company’s chief executive officer for its Thailand operations, Ryoichi Sasaki, said that Toyota will increase exports from Thailand to 230,000 units this year (compared to about 152,000 in 2005).
