SIAM, JAMA seek deeper collaboration through MoU

After years of negotiations, on 16 February 2011, India and Japan signed the India-Japan Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA). The main expectation behind the signing of this agreement was the promotion of liberalisation and facilitation of trade and investment between the two countries. The India-Japan CEPA came into force on 1 August that year.
