Scania confident ahead of future emissions regulations

The truck OEM’s Head of Powertrain Development delivers his assessment of the road ahead for heavy-duty vehicles, and stresses the importance of engine controls. By Xavier Boucherat

The VW-owned company now has in excess of 750,000 heavy-duty trucks and buses on the road worldwide. The OEM has been served well by a flexible, modular approach to construction, and a sharp focus on the premium end of the heavy-duty sector. It is in a good position to meet upcoming challenges.
