Automotive production in the US is now at its highest rate since 2002, according to a recent chart published by the Federal Reserve Board. Since 2000, the number of vehicles built on assembly lines in the US has risen to a seasonally adjusted annualised rate of 13.2 million vehicles, as of last month.
