Renault has committed itself to electric vehicles (EVs) with a hefty financial investment, and despite several setbacks, remains committed to making them a success. Its ambitions took a hit following the liquidation of battery-swap advocate Better Place but since then OEM has proven adaptable in its approach to cracking the mass-market barrier. Its latest efforts on this front involve a new partnership with Bollore.
