There have been several pilot EV projects in Mexico, but Nissan has just announced the launch of its Leaf on the local market, making it the first 100% electric vehicle to be marketed in the country. As well as marketing the car, Nissan is opening charge centres in Mexico to promote zero-emission mobility.
