Seval Oz, Chief Executive of Continental’s ITS subsidiary, explains that Silicon Valley “is a state of mind”

Intelligent Transportation Systems are widely regarded as solutions to future transportation problems such as gridlock, traffic-induced pollution, and accidents caused by human error. The ITS World Congress, held in Bordeaux (5-9 October 2015), will investigate intelligent mobility, namely connected and autonomous driving, which are expected to tackle these issues.

Continental AG has been actively pursuing what it calls ‘networked transportation’, and as such, formed a separate business to focus purely on ITS development. Seval Oz took the reins as Chief Executive in August 2014,
