New vehicle registrations in the US nipped up four percent year-on-year in June, according to thecarconnection.com. Citing AutoData, the report stated that year-to-date sales now stand 1.8 percent down from the same period in 2002 – a relatively modest dip considering the recent war in Iraq and subsequent economic slowdown.
