Ford’s weak February spurs analyst concerns

Some analysts are warning that Ford will come under increasing scrutiny if sales don't pick up soon

Nobody expected too much from Ford in 2014 due to the changeover from the old to the new F-150, but a slow start to this year has some analysts concerned. Ford's US sales fell 2% year-on-year in February to 180,383 units. RBC Capital Markets analyst Joe Spak had expected a 9% gain for the month, while Edmunds.com had expected a 5.2% rise and TrueCar a 5.5% rise.
