With a solid year behind it, Daimler is investing heavily to position itself for the onslaught of changing mobility trends and consumer preferences, writes Megan Lampinen

Daimler managed another year of profitable growth in 2015, with new records set in sales volumes, revenue and EBIT on the ongoing business. However, management aren't letting up on the accelerator just yet. In fact, the OEM is pumping in more money than ever to position itself for the onslaught of changing mobility trends and consumer preferences which promise to revolutionise the industry.
