Coups and terrorists aside, Turkey pushes investment offensive

Delegates from Turkey concede that it has not been a stable region historically but emphasise that the market is too vibrant to ignore. By Megan Lampinen

Despite the recent political turbulence, Turkey maintains lofty ambitions for its automotive industry, and is particularly keen to build relations with UK companies. The two markets are not far off in terms of size and production footprint, but the attractiveness of either as an investment location at the moment remains questionable. It is this sort of caution, however, that a delegation of local industry players to London sought to overcome.
