Close the gate – Karamba Security wants to block entry for hackers

Karamba Security says external interfaces such as Wi-Fi and USB are most vulnerable to cyber hacks, and need to be secured. By Freddie Holmes

On 17 March 2016, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) released a public service announcement in partnership with the US Department of Transportation (DOT) and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), alerting consumers to the threat of vehicle hacking.

As the announcement read: “…it is important that consumers and manufacturers are aware of the possible threats and how an attacker may seek to remotely exploit vulnerabilities in the future.”
