Ford has reported pre-tax earnings, excluding special items, of US$1,829m in the second quarter of 2012, a US$1,049m or 36.4% fall from the Q2 2011 result of US$2,878m. Revenue in the latest quarter was US$33.3bn, versus US$35.5bn in the previous year, with wholesales down 72,000 year-on-year at 1,447,000 units (1,519,000).
