Figures published by the French automotive industry association CCFA reveal that light vehicle registrations in France fell by 17.2% year-on-year in May 2012 to 197,671 units. Comparatively, the country’s automotive market stood at 238,873 passenger cars and light commercial vehicles (less than 5.1 tonnes) in May 2011.
