General Motors is cutting about 100 R&D positions from its global research and development headquarters in Warren, Michigan, reports Detroit News, citing an unnamed source familiar with the situation. The OEM has started handing out notices to sacked employees. The cuts represent about 25% of the 400 Warren R&D employees.
