Volkswagen Credit, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Volkswagen Group of America, recently commenced work to expand its facility in Libertyville, Illinois. This multi-million dollar expansion is scheduled to be completed in early 2013.
The Libertyville facility currently employs nearly 500 people. Volkswagen Credit expects to employ 150 more through 2018.
