Japan: Toyota seeking steel price cut from suppliers

According to a report in the Nikkei business daily, Toyota is seeking a price reduction of about ¥5,000 (US$65) per tonne from Nippon Steel Corporation and other steel suppliers for the second half of the fiscal year ending in March 2012, in line with a fall in materials prices.
