Global production of Toyota, Daihatsu and Hino vehicles in January contracted 3.9% year-on-year to 688,580 units. A 4.7% drop in Toyota output to 613,831 units overshadowed a 24.7% rise in Hino output to 9,283 units. Daihatsu output remained relatively flat, inching up 0.4% to 65,466 units.
