Customers in Japan can start placing orders for Nissan’s new Leaf electric vehicle starting 1 April. The eco-friendly model will start from ¥3.76m (US$40,628) in Nissan’s home market, though this drops to ¥2.99m if government incentives (worth ¥770,000) continue through fiscal year 2010.
