India: Ashok Leyland posts 6.3% increase in net profit for fiscal 2007-08

Ashok Leyland has announced a 6.3% year-on-year rise in net profit to Rs4.69bn (US$112.82m) for the Indian financial year ended 31 March 2008, compared with Rs4.41bn posted for fiscal 2006-07.
